Funky Fremantle Street Art walks and Gypsy update talks

Hola dear amigas and amigos and acquaintances and anonymous readers,

as our trip up the Western Australian coast, from Perth to Kalbarri, and Kalbarri to Shark Bay so far, has been rather eventful, I thought it might be wise to take some time out in creative artist-magnet-haven Fremantle this week. Here, you´ll be able to take in some cool Street Art and soak up the atmosphere of a fantastic Australian coastal town and one of my favorite places on the planet.

To join me in fun and vivacious Fremantle – no need to RSVP, just head to this virtual meet-up-place, ahem post.

Relax, stretch your legs, and enjoy a nice Freo-brewed coffee or a yummy smoothie with me, before we head back on the road in our next post (in one or two weeks) to finish our adventurous journey through the Australian Wild Wild West in an incredible up north paradise. Which includes immersing yourself in shark-inhabited waters, exploring pristine beaches, and having several pretty out there once-in-a-lifetime experiences…

Gypsy News: “How to feel at home while traveling” is born

Also, I wanted to let you lovely people know that I have just finished my first travel-related e-book! It´s called “How to feel at home while traveling”. It´s a practical little thing compiling lots of my handy and personally tried-out tips and tricks to make traveling more comfortable and relaxing – and it´s currently completely free/ on the Gypsy-house🙂

As you guys might know, I´ve been been a quite avid traveler and, to be honest, I did travel in pretty intense and partly frantic ways in the past. You could say Speedy Gonzalez was my idol as I wanted to visit every country in the world and be like everywhere at once. Truth be told, that approach to traveling resulted in lots of fantastic experiences, but also a few pretty intense ones, and it was certainly not the most relaxing way to enjoy my deeply embedded love for travel and foreign cultures. So, I tried and tested new ways of traveling and practices and tools to feel more relaxed and at ease while on the road – that´s how “How to feel at home while traveling” came to life!

Do you wanna feel empowered while traveling? Do you long to feel more relaxed while out and about? Do you want to cultivate a sensual approach to your travel experiences? Then this book will help.

To access your very own copy, just head to this page to download your ebook. I would love to hear your feedback on it or any further wishes/ ideas/ thoughts you might have on the content, as I am planning on creating a more in-depth package centered around empowering oneself to feel relaxed and at ease while out and about in the near future. Thank you so much for your interest and support! It´s so much appreciated🙂

That´s all for today- I´ll see you in Freo, as Fremantle is dubbed by the locals! Until next time,

Your Gypsy mate

  9. Hello my lovely talented friend, I’ve just finished reading your fabulous Ebook! Firstly, congrats, you’ve done an absolutely fantastic job with it. I’ve been thinking of creating an ebook for years but still haven’t done it so well done you! I loved the content and you gave us so many great ideas. It’s so true that our senses are our guides when we’re travelling and we do often overlook them. I loved your ideas, bringing your favourite mug, noise cancelling headphones, colour therapy, photos … there really are so many things to make us feel more at home when we’re travelling. And clearly you’ve mastered the art, integrating yourself into whatever culture you travel to. A lovely post too with the Freo art and I look forward to more of your West Aussie adventures Maria. Congrats again on the ebook. You should be very proud of it. Lots of love and big hugs from me to you dear friend and fellow lover of travel. You my dear lioness rock!! xxxx 😍

That’s how it is with your ebook too which makes it all the more special. Love your words of encouragement and cheering Maria. Sending you the biggest hugs ever from a balmy Melbourne morning. xxx 😍

      • Yep, bloody amazing barely touches it hey! You’re right, our grandparents, and indeed my beautiful mum if she was still with me, would be in awe at the ability to make such strong bonds and friendships over the ‘waves’ so to speak. What an incredible age we live in, it might have its hardships but it also has its blessings. Big big hugs back as I write this from my bed on an early Thursday morning. xx 🥰

  10. Maria – thank you for sharing the warmth of the streets and the beach – perfect for me since all I see is snow. But you know that right!? I’m super excited to read your book this weekend. Now the book you’re reading on copywriting makes even more sense! 😉 Now a weird question for you – I saw a silly meme on Facebook (the place where that kind of stuff happens a lot) and it was a picture of a person’s leg that had on the jeans with the tears in the fabric (like your jeans – you’re wearing in the picture with the garlic covered skull face looking at you – LOL) and the person put their wine glass in one of the tears to hold it upright – hands-free drinking I guess? That’s not the purpose of the tears in the fabric right …? LOL! Thanks for the smiles and I’ll let you know what I think of your book when I’m done reading it. I hope you’re having a wonderful week – see you again soon! xxxxxx

    • Shelley, how wonderful to read from you – and my pleasure to share some warmth with you in “real winter” in Wisconsin!! Love your winter photos – you capture the allure of cozy, snowy days perfectly! Yay, how awesome to hear you´ll check out my ebook:) Can´t wait to hear what you think about it! Btw, I did work as a copywriter for an agency in London for a while – writing about anything from hotels to shorts for men and erotic toys, haha. It was an entertaining and interesting experience. LOl your meme comment! You know – I gotta explore what these jeans are actually capable of after your comment!! 😀 A world of possibilities is opening up 😀 LOL. Thanks for your charming and delightful comment my lovely – wishing you a wonderful week as well with lots of great reads! See ya very soon 🙂 xxxx

Yes, I truly believe and know from experience now that cultivating a conscious focus on our senses while exploring a (new) place enhances the whole experience manyfold. Everything just comes more alive! Thanks so much for your kind wishes, wishing you a wonderful week with smooth and unrestricted travels 😉 and many more beautiful adventures for you in the future. 14. The beach looks fab, and the art too!
You know how I love street art!
Your book is very interesting. I have to check out the venue, before I give out my email. I am very paranoid out here, and stick pretty close to WP. Does that venue have anything to do with Amazon?
(I’ve been boycotting them for about 3years now)
I have a free book, too. However, I have a free download (PDF) available on my blog.

Gotta run and make my veggie dinner!
    Love ya, Gypsy xoxo

My email is mariaelena@agypsyatheart.com. Hope you enjoyed that veggie dinner 💖💖 Love ya, too, beautiful Resa! xoxo
